My note 9 (exynos) is not picking up the 5Ghz wifi. Only sees 2.4Ghz. Wifi analyzer likewise picks upwards 2.4Ghz simply.

Bad unit?

did you endeavour to clean the cache? I had an upshot with the download speed & lag, then i cleaned cache just before i was near to factory reset. I'm picking up 5Ghz without effect.

Cleaned enshroud. However no 5GHz wifi.

Ok, and so i did a bit of googling. I take a Netgear Nighthawk router which seems to have problems with many unlike android devices. One of the solutions posted suggested to manually ready a aqueduct and reboot the router. I fix the 5 GHz channel to 153, rebooted and hey presto! the phone picked upwardly the signal.
Posting the solution hither so that it helps someone.

i didnt accept some other 5ghz network to bank check against. about networks are still 2.4ghz effectually here
